As the owner of Advanced Internet Systems, John Pennington specializes in Internet business systems for sales, marketing and customer service applications. As a systems analyst, he has been writing and working with business computer applications for more than 20 years. As such, he understands the business needs behind the latest computer technologies. Being an expert in Internet Marketing Strategies, he has been able to stay at the forefront of the hottest new Internet business technologies by relating them to solving real world sales, marketing, and customer service needs.

Corporate History
After a decade in the credit services industry where he handled various MIS roles, Mr. Pennington founded Pentech Corporation in 1987. Although Pentech was initially set up to provide custom business programming, he successfully positioned his company as a leader in the development of specialty sales automation, Internet applications, and consulting services. With more than 300 resellers of his software products worldwide, he prides himself on his ability to stay on the leading edge of technology, and with having the vision to see business application potential in newly emerging technologies.

In 1998, with 90% of Pentech's revenue coming from Internet marketing applications and needing a break from Atlanta traffic, Mr. Pennington decided to move his business 50 miles north to Calhoun, Georgia where he restructured his operations into Advanced Internet Systems. Having long been a proponent of doing business on the Internet, he now has the luxury of working in idyllic circumstances on a beautiful horse ranch in the North Georgia mountains while maintaining his clients via the Internet both locally and from all over the world.

In working with a wide variety of clients over the years, Mr. Pennington has been able to earn a reputation for his ability to bridge the communications gap between end users and programmers. His understanding of business needs and his ability to translate those requirements into advanced systems that successfully meet those needs has been a major factor in the on-going success of Advanced Internet Systems.

Personal
Raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Mr. Pennington learned early to love a variety of outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, fishing, cross country skiing, and sailing. He holds a green belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys target shooting and photography. In his quieter moments, he likes to read, go to movies, play chess, and cruise the Web looking for new technologies to share with his clients.
